Full list of Characters. There are the DDR X costumes the SuperNOVA costumes and the SuperNOVA 2 Japan costumes. There are 38 caracters in all! Zero and Bonnie do not get alternate costumes though. UPDATE: New annotations added! You better like ‘em, it took me half an hour to add 
Also, I appeared to of made an error. SN2 AC costumes are unlocked when you clear the character’s chapter on ADVANCED, not Normal. For the SN costumes it’s clearing it on Normal. Note that they can also be unlocked through Freeplay mode. Street Master Mode is the fastest way to unlock all characters.
What is the name of the song that plays in the background during the Character selection?
@YamiYuugi – There actually isn’t a song name for the menu music. The “song” was more aimed for menu music rather than being an actual song. If you want to download the loop, you can always find it in Takuya’s DDR X Stepmania theme or rip the sounds from the PS2 game itself (it’s not that difficult if you know what to find and how to find it)

@YamiYuugi @YamiYuugi It’s in the Sound folder in that theme under the name common menu music. You can find the theme on the Bemanistyle forums. I can’t post the link because stupid YouTube is not allowing me too
Just look for the DDR X theme (there are 4 parts)
Not only is it a good SM theme, but it has the menu loop you are looking for.
ALL sleeveless characters (excluding Gus, lol)are my fave characters. For the girls, I personally like Emi and Yuni.

Im ALMOST done in this list… I don’t [really] like Rage’s third costume. Also Robo – Zukin… I like all the girls costume except the first one… [EXCEPT EMI AND YUNI!!! Her family dad was a... technician... and ... Emi is a sharp dresser... Yuni lives in a big mansion and she hates it... She likes junk foods...]
I’m an idiot, so please forgive me; this is DDR X, and not DDR XTREME? I’m searching around for ideas for easy costumes.

@Dinker27 Yes, this is DDR X. Also, there is no DDR XTREME, but there is a DDR Extreme (and Extreme 2)

Yuni first appeared in DDR Party Collection (Japan), she didn’t appear on SuperNOVA but came back in SuperNOVA 2.
